Welcome to the Manchester RGT website.

Manchester RGT are a group set up to rehome retired racing greyhounds in the North West of England.

The group is a branch of the national Retired Greyhound Trust charity which has branches throughout the country and is run entirely by volunteers.

Greyhounds are very lazy, gentle and affectionate dogs. They do NOT need a lot of exercise and in most cases two, twenty minute walks a day is enough. Generally, they settle quickly into a home and soon learn to become pets.

For more information on the Manchester RGT and the greyhounds in our care please call 01524 852784.

For more information on the greyhounds on the right of this page please click on small picture or the dog's name.   PICTURES UPDATED 18th JUNE 2008.
